Geelong players are doing their best to quickly move on from the disappointment of their 47-point grand final thrashing against the Lions.
The Cats have become renowned for their dress-up choices for their post-season drowning of sorrows, although a couple of players pushed the boundaries at the Wharf Shed in Geelong on Monday.
Among characters from South Park, Yellowstone and The Fantastic Four, Max Holmes turned up as veteran reporter Caroline Wilson complete with a bow and arrow from her famous TV segment, 'Caro's Arrow'.
Blond duo Ollie Dempsey and Sam De Koning have proven the biggest talking point, however, after they made references to the club's salary cap rumours.

The Cats - and star recruit Bailey Smith - have a relationship with Geelong-based clothing giant Cotton On.
So the duo arrived in an Aston Martin sports car with Cotton On stuck on the licence plate before getting out of the car carrying brown paper bags.
Dempsey also had a large Cotton On sign attached to his black singlet
"We just came from home, what we usually wear," De Koning told reporters. "Just drove in our usual car. Take whatever’s in the garage and on our way.”
Asked about the brown paper bags, they said “nothing, don’t look at that, pockets weren’t big enough”.
Smith's high profile arrival from the Bulldogs, along with coach Chris Scott's deal with Morris Finance and an audit from the AFL into alleged third-party payments have raised eyebrows among footy fans.
Dempsey and De Koning's outfits were making the most noise on social media.
"Geelong players taking the piss out of the AFL's investigation into third party payments is next level cockiness," was one comment on X.
"Really hope that audit that is currently being undertaken doesn't come back to bite them," wrote another.
"We may have lost the GF, but at least we’re undefeated at Mad Monday costumes," offered a Cats fan.
A fourth joked: "Aren’t they meant to dress up?"
