Dockers defender Jordan Clark says the team is drawing inspiration from Australia's famous 1983 America's Cup win, as they prepare for Saturday night's elimination final against Gold Coast.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, the 24-year-old said a club visit to the Maritime Museum in Fremantle last Friday had provided the playing group with inspiration as they look to create their own history in the port city.
"It's pretty much the first bit of silverware that was brought back to Freo and how big it was for the Freo community," Clark said.
"It sort of gives me a glimmer of what our club and what we can achieve actually means for our Freo public as well."

"Those guys (Australia II) would've dreamed of that ever since they were little kids much like a footballer's dream of winning a premiership, so it's achievable, it's not impossible."
After finishing sixth during the home-and-away season, the Dockers will face off against the seventh-placed Gold Coast Suns at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.
Despite a sea of purple expected to dominate the 60,000 strong crowd, Clark says he doesn't expect the Suns to be overawed in their first finals appearance.
"Obviously home final is an advantage in a way," Clark said.
"But we can't read into that too much, Gold Coast haven't had a huge following for their whole history and they're also another club who's probably done it pretty tough as well."
"That hasn't affected them this year in the way they've played and the way they've rocked up interstate. So I'm expecting Gold Coast to be full bore and it's game on on Saturday."
Saturday night's elimination final will be Jordan Clark's first game since being named an All-Australian for the first time in his career.
Despite the personal accolade, Clark said he is remaining focused on the job at hand this weekend.
"I haven't done a whole lot of reflecting," he said.
"It was a bit of a pinch myself moment when I was up on stage, but I truly haven't done much reflecting apart from that."
