The future of Collingwood star Bobby Hill is uncertain with several AFL clubs set to come after him during the AFL trade period.
Hill is unlikely to feature in the Magpies' upcoming finals campaigns after going through personal issues in 2025, but hasn't been completely ruled out.
He definitely won't be playing against Adelaide in the qualifying final on Thursday night after missing the team's main training session due to family reasons.
Despite signing a four-year contract extension earlier this season, non-Victorian clubs are likely to enquire about Hill's services, despite Collingwood's public stance of wanting him to stay.

"Clubs are looking at Bobby Hill now, non-Victorian clubs – and I’m not talking about West Coast or Fremantle here either – and wondering if they can pry him out of Collingwood," journalist Tom Morris told Channel 9.
"Collingwood, I think, publicly would say: ‘No chance. He’s a Norm Smith medallist, he’s recently re-signed.’
"But it won’t stop these clubs from trying at the end of the year, just because it’s been an unstable year for the Magpies and Bobby Hill in general. There’s been some frustrations towards him, but equally he’s been going through a bit as well.
"I think these conversations will ramp up towards the end of the year. I believe Bobby wants to stay himself, but that won’t stop clubs having a go."
Hill has kicked 20 goals from 14 games in 2025, after reaching 30-plus in each of his previous two Magpies seasons.
He is most famous for his Norm Smith Medal-winning performance in the 2023 grand final, kicking four goals from 18 disposals as Collingwood defeated Brisbane.
