Carlton's surprise delisting of winger Jaxon Binns has come under fire from ex-Blue and football personality Dan Gorringe.
The 20-year-old - who won Carlton's VFL best and fairest in 2023 - was axed by the Blues despite having a year to run on his contract with list spots needed after five players joined the club during AFL Trade Period.
Gorringe - via his popular DanDoesFooty Instagram page - voiced his discontent at Binns' delisting, claiming it was the wrong call by the club.
He also suggested that Binns' papers were stamped by Carlton after his final game for the team in Round 15 against North Melbourne - when he was seen being given a verbal spray from coach Michael Voss.

"What are we doing at Carlton?" Gorringe exclaimed.
"Letting Jaxon Binns go even though he has a year left on his contract?
"Now we are paying blokes not to be at the club?
"He is okay. He could be something. Now we are getting rid of him?
"I know why. It is because Vossy pinned a loss to North Melbourne right on him - even though he had leaders around him."
Despite four players leaving the Blues in Charlie Curnow, Tom De Koning, Jack Silvagni and Corey Durdin, the club appears to be tight for list spots with Will Hayward, Ollie Florent, Ben Ainsworth, Campbell Chesser and Liam Reid coming in from other teams.
Binns is likely a strong chance to get rookie-listed or added as an SSP player to another AFL list for 2026.
