The back-to-back premiers have had another win this off-season, with the Brisbane Lions extending the contract of young star Darcy Wilmot until the end of 2029.
Wilmot has added on another two years to his current deal, after already being contracted through 2027.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation for Chris Fagan's side since debuting in 2022, quickly emerging as a damaging ball user off half-back.
In 2025 Wilmot averaged a career-high 20.3 disposals, moving the ball at an impressive 80.5 per cent disposal efficiency, while polling 22 coaches votes.

Lions' fan will now nervously await a decision from out of contract superstar Zac Bailey, whose contract is set to expire at the end of 2026.
Bailey's future is set to be a big talking point next season, with the 26-year-old set to be chased by multiple Victorian powerhouses.
