The extent of a Monday morning injury scare for Adelaide young star Daniel Curtin has been revealed, with it confirmed the 20-year-old's ACL is intact, according to Seven's Xander McGuire.

Footage had emerged on Monday showing Curtin being stretchered off from the Adelaide's pre-season training session at West Lakes, sparking fears the former number eight pick had become yet another casualty from a pre-season training session.
While the news isn't worst-case scenario, Curtin can still expect a lengthy stint on the sidelines, with an early estimate suggesting he'll be out for 6-8 weeks.

Footage also showed that it was a wrestling drill with Crows captain Jordan Dawson that led to the injury.
