BREAKING: Last-minute match added to Money in the Bank: Mysterio Jr vs Octagón Jr (AAA) image

Many felt that the Money in the Bank card felt pretty light, with just four matches on the card. It appears that's because at least one place was being held as a result of the afternoon's appetizer, WWE World's Collide. Following the agreement of Mexican association AAA coming under the umbrella of WWE, World's Collide is taking place earlier on Saturday to center the impressive talent eminating from south of the Texas border and beyond.

The Luchador tradition is alive and well, and the kick off match had the WWE's Latino World Order (LWO) taking on Octagón Jr., Aero Star and Mr. Iguana in a six-man tag match. With Judgment Day champions Liv Morgan (women's tag) and Dominik Mysterio Jr (Intercontinental) sitting ringside, the AAA contingent emerged victorious as Octagón Jr. landed a Moonsault Slam from the top rope to get the three count.

Mysterio grabbed a microphone, chastising the promotions celebration of his "dad", Rey Mysterio, to start the event, and ended up getting snatched out the crowd by Octagón Jr. The fight spilled into the ring as the two tussled, with Dominik Mysterio eventually challenging Octagón Jr to face him later in the evening at Money in the Bank.

The Intercontinental title will be on the line, becoming just the second title at risk. Lyra Valkyria is defending the women's IC title against Becky Lynch. None of the other women's singles titles are on the line as Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton aren't on the card. World heavyweight champion Jey Uso and Universal champion John Cena are involved in a tag match against each other, and US champion Jacob Fatu nor either of the men's tag-team champions (Street Profits, New Day) are on the card either.

It's made for a lukewarm reception to the PLE and while Mysterio brings a lot of heat during his matches, this will hardly satiate the viewing audience a bit confused with the recent moves made in the promotion.
