Lady Vol legend Candace Parker shuts down Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese debate, with unique comparison image

The Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark rivalry has been since the beginning of their collegiate careers, not at LSU and Iowa, but at Maryland and Iowa. Reese started her career at Maryland before joining the Tigers. Hower, it really started the catch the spotlight due to bother teams competing for the National Championship on a yearly basis.

They both play in the WNBA and the rivalry is still there. In the month of May, both players were involved were Reese thought it was dirty, and Clark called it a basketball play in air potentially taking a shot at the opposition, adding a new layer to the rivalry.

“It's just a good take foul. Either Angel gets wide open 2 points or we send them to the free throw line. Nothing malicious about it… Every basketball player knows that,” Clark told ESPN’s Holly Rowe.

This led to Fox Sport’s Robert Griffin III to believe Reese dislikes Clark.The former NFL QB doesn’t believe that Reese can lie by saying this is apart of the rivalry.

WNBA icon Candace Parker just recently spoke on the debate as to which one of them is better. It is safe to say the future Hall of Famer is team Clark.

“It's like comparing apples and oranges. I'm not falling into that. I think there are a number of things that AR can improve on. The thing about Caitlin, yes, she can shoot from the logo, but she makes her team better,” Parker said.

Clark is truly one of a kind when it comes to Women’s SportsPoker recently retired from the NBA a little over a year ago.

“I’m retiring. I promised I’d never cheat the game and that I’d leave it in a better place than I came into it. The competitor in me always wants 1 more, but it’s time. My HEART and body knew, but I needed to give my mind time to accept it,” Parker wrote 

With Parker’s college coach being the late great Pat Summit, she knows special talent as that’s all Summit brought in
