Caitlin Clark sends 5-word message after Pacers upset OKC in NBA Finals Game 1 comeback image

Caitlin Clark was locked into Game 1 of the NBA Finals Thursday night, as were most basketball enthusiasts.

Just as she had last month, Clark poked fun at social media while soaking in the Indiana Pacers' playoff run, which has now reached a near-unthinkable climax.

Down 15 on the road, the Pacers needed more magic just as they had in the Eastern Conference Finals.

They got it thanks to Tyrese Haliburton's heroics in the final seconds of regulation, hitting arguably the biggest shot of his life to give the Pacers the lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Indiana never gave it back, stealing Game 1 111-110 to take a 1-0 series lead.

A now-viral tweet from Clark has surfaced, showcasing her true feelings about her adopted NBA team since becoming the face of the Indiana Fever franchise.

"YOU CAN'T MAKE IT UP," Clark tweeted alongside several emojis.

It remains to be seen whether the Pacers have more heroics left in them, as a ridiculous figure has emerged about how they have become synonymous with postseason comeback hysteria.

With Clark on their side as arguably the team's biggest cheerleader, anything seems possible.

Game 2 is back in Oklahoma City Sunday night as the Thunder try to avoid a 2-0 deficit.
