What is a "mebound," you ask?
It's the word rebound, combined with "me." If you don't get it yet, watch Angel Reese play basketball for a few minutes and you will.
Reese has gone viral on social media multiple times for missing a shot and then grabbing her own miss.
It's not the only kind of rebounding she does. She legitimately might be the best rebounder in the WNBA in only her second season for the Chicago Sky. But yeah, a few of them are off her own misses.
The "mebound" term has made the rounds on social media, and surprisingly, Reese seems to like it. She posted a video on TikTok on Saturday giving her thoughts.
"Whoever came up with the 'mebounds' thing, y'all ate that up," Reese said. "Because mebounds, crebounds, keybounds, tebounds... anything that comes off the board, it's mine."
That rhyming sequence is quite the vibe.

Reese had more to say.
"Whoever came up with that, the trolling, I love when y'all do it, because the ideas be good," she said. "When y'all came up with mebounds — cause, statistically, all the rebounds I get aren't always just mine. They're the defenses, too, or somebody else's on my team — but when y'all came up with mebounds, y'all [ate]."
Reese concluded by saying that "mebounds" and the viral nature of it are something that she and her agent are "gonna work with that."
In reality, Reese should probably focus on making her shots so that there aren't any "mebounds" available.
But man, that's a funny word.
