Angel Reese has been playing phenomenal basketball lately.
She won't get the chance to continue that on Wednesday, though.
Shortly before the Chicago Sky took on the Atlanta Dream in a midday clash, Reese was ruled out.
The Sky listed Reese as having a leg injury.
It's not totally clear when Reese may have been hurt.
She played until the final buzzer of Monday night's loss to the Lynx. Reese scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and that included Chicago's final two points of the night.
Reese has recorded nine consecutive double-doubles.
In that nine-game stretch, Reese is averaging 18.1 points, 14.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Hopefully this is just a short absence, because the Sky and the WNBA need Reese back on the floor.
