The Chicago Sky are in their second season with Angel Reese as the face of the franchise. After a promising rookie season, it hasn't been a great start to Reese's sophomore season as the Sky are 0-4 and have lost three of the four games by double digits.
Tuesday night was a bit closer, although the Sky lost, 94-89, to the Phoenix Mercury on the road.
Reese is earning just under $75,000 per year in her rookie WNBA salary, but she is making much more than that based on advertisements and endorsements. She has used her impressive net worth to purchase a new home in Chicago worth $1.3 million, as TopClosings reported on Instagram.
The post shows it as a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom house that is 3,600 square feet in Lemont, Illinois.
"WBNA star Angel Reese just dropped almost $1.3m on a beautiful new home in the suburbs of Chicago! The newly constructed home was originally listed in January for $1.325m, Reese snagged the home for $50k under asking price."
Reese was in one of the photos with the caption that read, "Retired my momma. Became a homeowner. All at 22. So blessed."
On Wednesday, Reebok also released a new logo for Reese, so the young Sky star is having some massive success off the court early on in her sophomore campaign in the WNBA.
On the court, Reese is averaging 10 points with 14 rebounds this year, although she had a 2-point, 12-rebound game against the New York Liberty where she went 0-for-8 from the field.
Reese is already a well-known name and is extremely popular in the WNBA. Now, she is reaping the benefits of it.
