Caitlin Clark reveals how she really feels about Angel Reese rivalry image

The 2025 WNBA regular season begins on Friday with three games, including the Dallas Wings facing the Minnesota Lynx in Paige Bueckers' debut.

On Saturday is the headliner of opening weekend. Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever take on Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky as both teams had some decent moves this offseason.

The Sky added Haily Van Lith in the WNBA Draft, reuniting her with Reese as they were teammates at LSU. The Fever brought in Sophie Cunningham and plenty of others, but the main attraction is the Clark vs. Reese showdown on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, Clark spoke about the rivalry with Reese, and the Fever star got honest, per Owen Siebring

"I think rivalries are good for all of sports," Clark said. "Rivalries are real and that's what makes sports so amazing. There's certain teams that those games just mean a little bit more. Our team you come out here and you play the same way every single night but it gets the fans involved."

The Reese-Clark rivalry began in college when LSU and Iowa faced each other, and now it continues in the WNBA as two of the biggest names in the sport battle it out.

Both teams should be fun to watch this season and Clark and Reese are expected to be major factors once again as they begin Year Two in the WNBA.

The Fever and Sky face off on Saturday at 3 pm ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana with the game being aired on ABC.
