Rockwall-Heath travels to the southern part of the Dallas-Fort Worth “Metroplex” to take on Mansfield Legacy.

Heath (2-1) started its season with a rousing 52-49 win at Highland Park before falling the next week to Prosper. But on Sept. 12, the Hawks rebounded with a 34-26 win against California school San Juan Hills.
Quarterback Prosper Neal has thrown for 536 yards and six touchdowns, and running back Carter Zahm has nearly 300 yards and four TDs on the ground.
Heath starts up District 10-6A play next week at home against Tyler Legacy.
As for Mansfield Legacy, the Broncos are also 2-1. They kicked off their season with a wild 43-42 win at Justin Northwest before posting a 33-24 victory against Saginaw Chisholm Trail. But last week, the Broncos were on the short end of a 61-14 outcome to South Grand Prairie.
Quarterback Jake Jenkins has thrown for more than 600 yards and seven TDs. His top receiver is D’Andre Thomas, who has caught 16 passes for 242 yards and three scores. Running back J-Uan Harrison Jr. also has three scores as well as 466 yards.
Next week, Mansfield Legacy opens up 3-6A action at home against defending UIL 6A Division I state champion North Crowley.
