Both the Marauders and Farmers come into Friday’s District 5-6A opener undefeated on the season. Marcus and Lewisville also both had byes last week.

The Marauders beat Keller and Richardson Pearce in their first two games of the season, while Lewisville knocked off Mansfield Summit, Trophy Club Byron Nelson and Rockwall, which upset North Crowly last week.

Friday’s game should be a fun battle of quarterbacks between Lewisville’s Tre Williams and Marcus’ Colton Nussmeier. Lewisville won last season’s meeting, 27-21.
