Braelyn Latin, North DeSoto: Latin rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries as the Griffins defeated Northwood (Shreveport), 52-26.

Drew LeJeune, Notre Dame: LeJeune accounted for 209 yards and four touchdowns to spark a 35-34 overtime victory for the Pios over Catholic (New Iberia). The Pios trailed 28-0 at halftime.

Reginald Monroe, Hammond: Monroe returned two punts for touchdowns in the Tornadoes’ 49-0 win over L.W. Higgins. Monroe added a 34-yard receiving touchdown.

Richard Montgomery, Dunham: Montgomery hauled in seven passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns as the Tigers trounced Ascension Catholic, 42-7.

Jamarcea Plater, Captain Shreve: The Wake Forest commit rushed for 269 yards and scored four touchdowns on 25 carries to lead the Gators to a 59-48 win over Benton.

Kenny Ponthier, Tioga: Ponthier rushed for 240 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-30 win against Richwood.

Walker Pugh, St. Thomas More: Pugh racked up 29 tackles (11 solos), a pass breakup and two quarterback hurries in a win over Neville.

Jake Randle, Newman: Randle compiled 325 total yards and four touchdowns in a 40-8 victory over The Willow School. The quarterback ran for 220 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.

Javon Vital, Hamilton Christian: Vital had a big night running the ball with 15 carries for 362 yards and five touchdowns in the Warriors’ 48-13 win against St. John. Vital passed for 134 yards and added a 98-yard punt return for a touchdown to finish with 594 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns.

Taylor Weathersby, Haughton: In a 42-28 loss to Huntington, Weathersby passed for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

Justin Whitaker, Huntington: Whitaker passed for 303 yards and five touchdowns on 19 of 31 aim to lead the Raiders to a 42-28 win over Haughton. Whitaker added 56 rushing yards.

Xzavier White, Alexandria: White had eight tackles and three sacks in the Trojans 59-6 victory against Opelousas.

Kaleb Williams, Parkway: Williams passed for 322 yards and five touchdowns in the Panthers’ 69-40 win over Natchitoches Central.

Kason Williams, Alexandria: Williams rushed for 166 yards and a touchdown and added an 18-yard receiving touchdown to finish with 184 total yards and two touchdowns in the 59-6 victory over Opelousas.

Wilbert Ricky Williams, Slidell: The Tiger junior had 304 total yards and four touchdowns in their 28-14 victory against Mandeville. Williams passed for 238 yards and three touchdowns on nine of 18 aim.

Ja’Kyrin Woodard, Welsh: Woodard ran for 302 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries in the Greyhounds’ 54-13 victory over South Beauregard.
