Ruston is back on the road again after traveling to South Louisiana and Arkansas in Weeks 1 and 2.

The Bearcats travel to Alvarado, Texas for a neutral site game against Midland Legacy as they try to make their fourth straight appearance to the LHSAA Prep Classic. Last year, Ruston defeated the Rebels, 38-6, in Ruston.

Ruston improved to 3-0 last week after a 38-35 win against Longview (Texas). Bearcat junior Ahmad Hudson caught nine passes for 109 yards and three touchdowns in the contest.

Midland Legacy snapped a three-game losing streak with a 42-28 win over Abilene to go to 1-3. JP Reyes passed for a school-record 469 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

The opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Sept. 25. The game will be played at Charles Head Stadium in Alvarado, Texas.
