Pakistan vs. Bangladesh Asia Cup match predicted XIs, team news
Pakistan would have gotten a much-needed morale boost in their batting, especially with how Hussain Talat and Mohammad Nawaz performed in the lower order. Not only this, but the duo has been consistently performing with bat and ball.
Saim Ayub, who has failed to grab the eyeballs with his bat, could make way for either Hasan Nawaz or Khushdil Shah. If Ayub does not play, Fakhar Zaman will continue to open along with Sahibzada Farhan.
Shaheen Afridi has been leading the pace attack from the front; the left-arm pacer took three wickets in the last match. While Pakistan is still persistent with Haris Rauf, the addition of Faheem Ashraf and Talat provides depth to their pace bowling unit. Abrar Ahmed will continue to lead the spin attack.
Pakistan predicted XI: Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Nawaz/Khushdil Shah, Salman Agha (c), Mohammad Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Haris (wk), Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed.
As for Bangladesh, they made four changes to their lineup against India in their recent match. In the absence of the skipper Litton Das, the wicketkeeper batter Jaker Ali took the leadership duties against Indies but had to face a heartbreaking defeat. Taskin Ahmed was also omitted from the lineup.
But considering the opponent and intensity of the match this time, both Das and Ahmed are likely to return to the final lineup in place of Parvez Hossain Emon and Mohammad Saifuddin.
Rishad Hossain, who has been in top form lately, will continue to be the leading spinner in the team along with Nasum Ahmed. On the pace bowling front, Mustafizur Rahman and Tanzim Hasan Sakib will retain their places.
Bangladesh predicted XI: Tanzid Hasan, Saif Hassan, Litton Das (c & wk), Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman.
