It won't be just another tournament. The 2025 edition of the most prestigious continental competition will have some special twists. Nicaragua will host the AmeriCup for the first time in its history, and the teams are preparing to claim the title.

From Puerto Rico 1980 to Recife 2022, the AmeriCup (formerly the FIBA Americas Tournament) has had six different champions, with the USA as the top winner with seven titles, and Argentina as the team with the most medals.
