Renowned jazz and R&B musician Charlie Puth will take his talents to the United States' two biggest cities starting in late September, with bi-coastal residencies at the Blue Note Jazz Club's New York and Los Angeles locations.
The "Light Switch" singer announced the limited residency on September 9, and fans immediately started scooping up tickets. Puth will start off the 'Whatever's Clever' residency on Sep. 25 with eight shows in New York City, then head to LA for eight shows in mid-October.
The Berklee classical and jazz-trained musician said he will play some of his older tunes in addition to some new material, adding that the shows will be intimate — a couple hundred fans, at most, with two shows per night — just like at the beginning of his professional career.

"I started my career playing for a couple hundred people a night," Puth said in his Instagram announcement. "Two shows per night — 2015 was the last time I did a show like this, so I'm so excited to be doing this again. It's gonna be me and the band, and we're gonna play a lot of music just like in the beginning. I can't wait to see you all."

Tickets for Charlie Puth's bi-coastal residencies in New York City and Los Angeles are available now on StubHub. As you might expect, they have been selling lightning fast.
As the presale on Wednesday, Sep. 10 has already passed and general tickets became available on Friday, Sep. 12, the StubHub tickets will likely sell out quickly.
The get-in price for the New York City shows range in price from $182 to $360. The LA shows have been priced even higher.
