For just the third time in school history, BYU will face West Virginia on the gridiron. The Cougars host the Mountaineers for a Week 6 matchup between the Big 12 foes.
The two squads last faced off in 2023 with WVU earning a 37-7 victory. Before that, WVU defeated BYU by three points in 2016.

Can the Cougars get back on track on their home field?
They should, as BYU is off to a great start to the season, winning its first three games by no less than 21 points each. The Mountaineers, however, have struggled. Despite beating rival Pitt in an overtime thriller, West Virginia failed to defeat Kansas.
