Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season, with both franchises looking for a big bounce-back campaign. Tickets have been flying for this Windy City affair, which could be one of the highlight games of the young season.
Both these teams made big moves in the 2025 offseason, trying to get back to the levels of success their fan bases came to expect in the 1980s and '90s.
Chicago got the big fish — former Lions offensive coordinator Johnson — then revamped its o-line and drafted Colston Loveland and Luther Burden. Dallas traded for wideout George Pickens, hired Brian Schottenheimer as head coach and brought in Matt Eberflus as Defensive Coordinator.

Of course, the Bears and Cowboys will only go as far as their QBs and star wide receivers take them. For Chicago, it all hinges on Caleb Williams and D.J. Moore. For Dallas, the central catalysts are Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. And without Micah Parsons — who was traded to Green Bay in late August — the scoring will need to be plentiful for Dallas.
