Manchester City will make a short trip to Swansea.com Stadium to face Championship club Swansea in a crucial fourth-round fixture of the Carabao Cup 2025-26 on Wednesday.

City's sensational nine-match winning streak was halted by Aston Villa in a 0-1 defeat in the English top flight last time out.  Pep Guardiola's men will be aiming to bounce back; they are currently sitting in fifth spot in the EPL leaderboard with 16 points from nine matches. They have only played once in this year's EFL Cup, picking up a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in the third round in September.

Meanwhile, Swansea ended their three-match winless streak with a 2-1 victory over Norwich City in the Championship outing on Saturday.  Zan Vipotnik scored an impressive brace to secure a much-needed win for the hosts, climbing up to 13th in the Championship table. They started their EPL Cup campaign with a 3-1 victory over Crawley Town, followed by wins over Plymouth Argyle and Nottingham Forest

Man City must be confident enough to secure a victory here, as Swansea City has failed to win a single outing against Pep Guardiola's side in their last 15 games.
