Highly anticipated Italian top-tier football, Serie A, is back for its 124th edition, bringing another exciting and appetizing campaign for fans.

Italy's premier football league has provides some of the most thrilling and dramatic football entertainment for the next few months. A league that showcases the emerging talents, world-class strikers, and top-class leadership. This season will mark a new era for the teams participating, as 12 out of 20 clubs will have gone through a leadership change.

20 high-profile teams compete in the tournament, where 17 teams from the last season have retained their spots while three teams have arrived via promotions from Serie B. Sassuolo returns to the league after a one-year absence; Pisa have returned to Italy's top flight after a 34-year-long gap. The final team that earned promotion is Cremonese, who qualified through play-offs. They replaced Empoli, Venezia, and Monza in the new season.

With the new season underway, the top teams have done a major overhaul of their squad. Atlanta BC, the Bergamo club that came third in the last season, will be without Gian Piero Gasperini at the helm for the first time in nine years. The 67-year-old boss switched to AS Roma in the new season. In pursuit of healing themselves, Inter Milan will begin a new era under the inexperienced coach Cristian Chivu.
