Scotland will look to take one step closer to 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification as they take on Greece in a European Group C clash on Thursday.
After a goalless draw with Denmark to begin their campaign, the Scots followed up with a convincing 2-0 win over Belarus in their next qualifier. Currently second in the group, Scotland is level with Denmark on points (four) but have an inferior goal difference.
On the other hand, Greece began with a rampant 5-1 victory over Belarus; however, they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Denmark in the next match. With three points, Greece is placed third in the group.
Only the top team from each group with qualify automatically for the 2026 World Cup. Scotland last reached the World Cup in 1998 while Greece haven't made the cut for the mega-event since 2014.
