Just four months on from their Europa League semi-final showdown, Bodoe/Glimt and Tottenham Hotspur meet again — this time under the bright lights of the UEFA Champions League — in a Tuesday night clash in the Arctic Circle.

On their way to long-awaited European silverware — and a coveted Champions League berth — Tottenham brushed aside Norwegian club Bodoe/Glimt in last season’s Europa League semi-finals with a 5-1 aggregate win.

Now under Thomas Frank, Spurs return to Norway for their second group fixture of the 2025-26 Champions League, having edged Villarreal 1-0 in their opener.

For Bodoe/Glimt, Tottenham’s triumph blocked their own path to Champions League qualification last season, but the Norwegian champions earned the place the hard way.

A 6-2 aggregate victory over Sturm Graz in the playoffs secured their first-ever spot in the main draw, making them one of four debutants this season — and the northernmost team to ever feature in Europe’s top competition. They began the Champions league journey with a fighting 2-2 draw against Slavia Prague.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Bodoe/Glimt vs. Tottenham lineups, team news

Bodoe/Glimt emerged from their recent NM Cup victory over Odds BK with a couple of fresh concerns.

Centre-back Brede Moe and winger Daniel Bassi both limped off in the first half with suspected groin issues, and while Kjetil Knutsen has yet to confirm the extent of their injuries, both are major doubts for Tuesday’s clash.

The duo could join captain Ulrik Saltnes (illness) on the sidelines, with Odin Bjortuft expected to deputise for Moe in defence and Ole Didrik Blomberg the frontrunner to replace Bassi if Mathias Jorgensen fails to recover from his knock.

Bodoe/Glimt predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Lund (GK) — Sjovold, Bjortuft, Nielsen, Aleesami — Fet, Berg, Auklend — Blomberg, Hogh, Hauge.
Injured: Moe, Bassi, Saltnes, Bjortuft, Blomberg, Jorgensen (doubt)
Suspended: None

Tottenham continue to contend with a lengthy injury list, with forwards Dominic Solanke (ankle) and Randal Kolo Muani (dead leg) still sidelined and facing an uphill battle to return in time for Tuesday’s trip.

Veteran defender Ben Davies (knee) is also a doubt, while Dejan Kulusevski (knee), James Maddison (ACL), Radu Dragusin (ACL), and Yves Bissouma remain unavailable.

With Mathys Tel omitted from the squad for the league phase, Thomas Frank’s attacking depth is stretched thin, leaving Richarlison as the likely lone striker once again.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-3-3 right to left): Vicario (GK) — Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Spence — Sarr, Palhinha, Bergvall — Johnson, Richarlison, Odobert
Injured: Solanke, Kolo Muani, Davies (doubt), Kulusevski, Maddison, Dragusin, Bissouma
Suspended: None
