Jose Mourinho's Roma will need to find a way past Sevilla if they want to secure another European title.
Mourinho's charges clinched the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League trophy last season, beating Feyenoord in the final, but their Budapest showdown with Sevilla presents a different challenge.
Sevilla have won six combined UEFA Cup/Europa League titles with Roma never winning the competition before in their history.

Sevilla vs Roma history
Despite their joint status as regular European qualifiers, Sevilla and Roma have only faced each other once before in competitive action.
The 2019/20 Europa League was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with UEFA effectively pausing the campaign at the Round of 16 stage in March 2020.
After UEFA restarted the tournament, all Round of 16 matchups which had not yet played a first leg match were amended to a single-game format, including Sevilla vs Roma.
First-half goals from Sergio Reguilon and Youssef En-Nesyri secured a 2-0 victory for Sevilla over Roma at the neutral site of Duisburg, Germany.
Julen Lopetegui's team went on to beat Wolves (quarterfinals), Manchester United (semifinals), and Inter Milan (final), en route to winning the tournament.
