There's everything to play for in this Group G finale as Serbia and Switzerland face off for a spot in the World Cup knockout stages.

Switzerland currently sit second in the group and likely only need a draw having beaten Cameroon in their opening match.

Serbia should have also beaten the African team but squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 that leaves them bottom of the section.

That means Serbia need nothing less than a win if they hope to progress with both teams also hoping Brazil avoid losing to Cameroon.

Serbia vs Switzerland lineups

For the first 53 minutes, Serbia largely dominated their most recent match Cameroon with their starting side finally clicking in the final third.

With no injuries or suspensions to speak of, Dragan Stojkovic will likely look to field the same lineup and hope they can put in a full 90-minute performance.

Serbia projected lineup (3-4-2-1, right to left): 23. V. Milinkovic-Savic (GK) — 4. Milenkovic, 5. Veljkovic, 2. Pavlovic— 14. Zivkovic, 6. Maksimovic, 16. Lukic, 17. Kostic — 10. Tadic, 20. S. Milinkovic-Savic — 9. Mitrovic.

Noah Okafor sat out of the Brazil game with a thigh problem and remains a doubt for this match. Renato Steffen missed Switzerland's opening game but came on as a substitute last time out and could now be pushing for a start.

Xherdan Shaqiri didn't see any action against Brazil so could be primed for a big match if coach Murat Yakin decides to use him.

Switzerland projected lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): 1. Sommer (GK) — 3. Widmer, 5. Akanji, 4. Elvedi, 13. Rodriguez — 8. Freuler, 10. Xhaka – 11. Steffen, 15. Sow, 17. Vargas — 7. Embolo.

Serbia vs Switzerland odds, prediction

Games don't come much tighter than this but Switzerland seem to have a defence capable of keeping Serbia at bay.

The Swiss have leaked just one goal so far in Qatar, an absolute thunderbolt from Casemiro, and likely needing just a point from this match they should be able to soak up Serbia's attacking pressure.

Unless Serbia do find the back of the net, expect this one to be a tight contest with few goals.

Prediction: 0-0 draw
