PSG are reportedly set to make Dayot Upamecano their top defensive target in 2026.
The Bayern Munich centre-back has not signed an extension on his deal which ends in June 2026 and this opens the door to a rare free transfer.
The French international played 20 Bundesliga matches in Bayern’s title-winning season under Vincent Kompany and the French international has made himself one of the consistent defenders in League.
According to Fichajes, PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos views Upamecano as one of the top priorities in 2026.
The French club brought in Ukraine international Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth this season.
Upamecano currently earns €16m [$18.7m] per season but is demanding a pay rise which Bayern has refused to sanction.

This could open the way for PSG to lure the Frenchman to the Parc des Princes, but challenge however will not be straightforward with two European giants also in the fray.
Man United and Real Madrid also want to sign the Upamecano
Real Madrid and Man United have both identified the Bayern Munich defender as a key reinforcement next year.

Los Blancos are interested because they need cover for Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba whose contracts expire at the end of the current season.
Manchester United reportedly want to return to the top of English football and see Upamecano as a significant upgrade in their defense.
