Brazil's Richarlison topped the scoring chart at the 2021 men's Olympic tournament, leading Brazil to its second straight gold medal.

Richarlison got all his goals in the group stage, striking for a hat trick in Brazil's opening match against Germany and adding two more in the group-stage finale against Saudi Arabia.

He finished one goal ahead of Mexican midfielder Sebastian Cordova and Frenchman Andre-Pierre Gignac, who scored all four of his goals in the first two group-stage matches. Korean forward Uijo Hwang also finished on four goals.

The list of top scorers from recent men's Olympic tournaments features some of the most lethal strikers in international soccer history, from Chilean legend Ivan Zamorano to Argentina attacking stars Carlos Tevez and Hernan Crespo. U.S.-born Giuseppe Rossi, who represented Italy, led the 2008 edition with four goals.

Current Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry led the goal-scoring chart at the last men's Olympic tournament with six tallies in Germany's run to a silver medal.
