NCAA Women's Soccer Division I Tournament: Complete schedule, bracket, results, TV & streaming image

Women's college soccer powerhouse Florida State is just one game away from adding a second national championship in the last four years when it plays BYU in the women's College Cup final on Monday. The match will be played in Santa Clara, Calif. which is serving as host of the 2021 final four, also known as College Cup.

No. 1-ranked Florida State, national champions in 2014 and 2018, is in its second straight final after a penalty-kick shootout against Santa Clara denied it the 2020 title (played in May 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). After brushing off South Alabama and SMU in the opening rounds of this year's tournament, the Seminoles rode three straight 1-0 wins, including over No. 5-ranked Rutgers, to reach the final.

The FSU team defense (13 shutouts in 24 matches) will face its toughest test yet when it takes on the highest scoring team in Division I. BYU, ranked No. 13 in the country, won a dramatic penalty-kick shootout over defending champion Santa Clara to advance to the final. In addition to scoring at will (15 goals in its five-match tourney run), BYU has already knocked off a top seed on its path to the final, dispatching No. 2-ranked Virginia on the road in the Round of 16.

If the final is tied after 90 minutes, two 10-minute periods of sudden-death overtime will be played. If it's still deadlocked, a penalty-kick shootout will decide the winner.

The tournament bracket put together by the selection committee consisted of 31 Division I conference champions, which all claimed automatic bids, along with another 33 at-large selections (watch the selection show here). Criteria for selection are outlined in the official guidelines. Unlike the NCAA basketball tournament which attaches a seed to every team, only four teams in each quadrant of the bracket were assigned a seed.

Home teams are listed first in the schedule of results below. The highest seed left standing in each quadrant hosted both the Second Round and Round of 16 matches which took place over a single weekend (Nov. 19-21). Per NCAA rules, the highest-seeded teams hosted through the quarterfinals unless the school did not submit a bid to host, or its facilities did not meet requirements. Then the committee decided on the host.
