Morocco vs Portugal history

Morocco and Portugal have faced each other just twice in international football, with both fixtures having come at previous World Cups.

In 1986, a 3-1 win for Morocco ensured they progressed from the group stages at Portugal's expense, though their campaign only went as far as the Round of 16.

The two teams were again drawn together in the 2018 World Cup group stages, where a fourth-minute Ronaldo goal secured a 1-0 win for Portugal.
