The 2022 World Cup Round of 16 continues with Brazil looking to reassert themselves as tournament favorites after their surprise defeat to Cameroon in their last Group G match
They did rest nine of their 11 regular starters and dominated much of that game — still doing enough to top the group and set up a last-16 clash with Group H runners-up South Korea — but Tite will still be disappointed at the last-minute concession of Vincent Aboubakar's headed, which allowed Cameroon to snatch a 1-0 win.
Aboubakar was then sent off for his celebration, as the Indomitable Lions became the first-ever African side to defeat Brazil at the World Cup.
The Selecao will still be backed heavily to get back to winning ways against a spirited but also highly talented South Korea side.
Many thought the Asian side were down and out ahead of their final group match against Portugal, but they dug deep even after conceding early. A 91st-minute winner from Hwang Hee-chan saw them leapfrog Uruguay and make the Round of 16 for the first time in 12 years.
