The United States are set to face off against Samoa in the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup on Saturday at the York Community Stadium in what will be both sides' final game of the tournament.
The USA suffered a catastrophic loss to England with a 69-7 scoreline at the Stadium of Light to kick off their campaign; however, they managed to bag a surprise 31-31 draw against Australia, who are one of the challengers for the World Cup this time around. However, with the Wallaroos now facing off against England, the Americans know that a win with at least two bonus points could see them qualify for the knockout rounds.
Samoa are the only Pool A side yet to gain a point through the opening two games. They lost their opening game 73-0 against Australia and then fell to another horrid 92-3 defeat to England last weekend. They will be keen on avoiding the fate of leaving the Women's Rugby World Cup without at least a single point to their name.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match and kickoff time.
