Arsenal will open the 2017-18 Premier League season with a televised home fixture against Leicester City selected for Friday night coverage (Sky Sports) on August 11.

Arsene Wenger guided his side to a narrow 1-0 victory over the Foxes in the same match last season, with a late Robert Huth own goal handing the Gunners maximum points.

Chelsea, though, are first Premier League champions not to be televised on matchday one since Manchester United in 2003-04.

The 12:30pm UK time early Saturday kick-off on the opening weekend will take place at Vicarage Road, with Liverpool travelling to Watford on August 12 (Sky Sports).

BT Sport's first televised Premier League fixture of the season will involve new boys Brighton, who start their top-flight return with a home clash against title favourites Manchester City.

Chris Hughton led the Seagulls to Championship promotion last term, losing out on the title to Rafa Benitez's Newcastle United on the final day of the season.

Sky Sports dominate Sunday's showings, with Tottenham's trip to Newcastle (13:00) and Man United's hosting of West Ham (16:00) both taking place on August 13.

Jose Mourinho's men eased past the Hammers at Old Trafford last season, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial scoring two apiece in a 4-1 victory for the Red Devils.

In all, five Premier League games will be televised between Sky Sports and BT Sport on the opening weekend of the campaign.

The following weekend, Swansea City's match against Man United (Sky Sports) will be followed by Stoke against Arsenal (BT Sport).

Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town will take to our screens for the first time in the top flight on Sunday, August 20, with their home meeting with Newcastle taking place in front of the Sky Sports cameras at 13:00 UK time.

The battle between the promoted clubs is followed by one of the tastiest ties of the season, with Mauricio Pochettino going head-to-head with Antonio Conte at Wembley. Tottenham vs Chelsea will be played at 16:00 UK time on August 20 (Sky Sports).

The first Monday Night Football will be contested by Manchester City and Everton, a game which will see a host of new signings taking their first footsteps in the English game.

Other games to look out for include Liverpool vs Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday, August 27, which will be broadcasted at 16:00 UK time on Sky Sports, and Manchester City vs Liverpool on Saturday, September 9 at 12:30 UK time.

Sunday, September 17 looks set to be a big day in the Premier League, with Chelsea vs Arsenal on Sky Sports at 13:00 UK time and followed by Man United taking on Wayne Rooney and Everton at 16:00 UK time (BT Sport).

A fair share of high-profile fixtures will take place over the opening two months of the season, with a number of them selected for live TV coverage.

Tottenham vs Chelsea is the stand-out, with last season's champions travelling to Spurs, who finished second, in the club's first season using Wembley as their Premier League home ground.

Spurs pushed Chelsea close in last season's title race, though the Blues eventually climbed to 93 points and finished seven points ahead of their rivals.

Bournemouth will host Brighton on Friday, September 15, in a south-coast derby. Sky Sports will broadcast the clash of the two seaside clubs, with kick off pencilled in for 20:00.

Chelsea vs Arsenal (Sunday, September 17 at 13:00), and West Ham vs Tottenham (Saturday, September 23 at 12:30) will also be shown by Sky Sports.
