The Washington Commanders have a big game coming up in Week 7.

They'll be taking on their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.

The status of the two star WRs in Washington, Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel, will be crucial for the outcome.

On Wednesday, in the first official practice report of the week, the news was mixed.

McLaurin returned to practice. He's missed multiple weeks with his quad injury, but a limited participation on the report is as good a sign as he's gotten since initially getting hurt.

On the flip side, Samuel did not practice due to a heel injury.

Samuel played on Monday night, so this could just be a case of some rest after playing through injury, although it wasn't listed as a rest day, so his Thursday practice status will be something to monitor.

The Commanders were also without RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (calf) and TE Zach Ertz (rest/shoulder) as DNPs on Wednesday.

Bobby Wagner and Laremy Tunsil were both given rest days, too.

Jayden Daniels remained on the injury report with his knee injury, but he was a full participant Wednesday.

The Commanders are coming off a disheartening 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, so they'll want to bounce back against the Cowboys, and the healthier they can be for that opportunity, the better.
