The Commanders came as a surprise package in 2024 courtesy of Quarterback Jayden Daniels' Rookie of the Year campaign, which lifted the team from 4-13 to 12-5, making it an NFC wild-card team.

In 2025, as a sophomore QB, Daniels will have a much-improved offense for support as the Commanders look to take advantage of his cheap initial contract. They've made aggressive trades in the offseason, acquiring wide receiver Deebo Samuel and Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to bolster the offense.

Washington will also once again field one of the oldest rosters in the NFL this season. Defensively, they were ranked as the 18th scoring defense in 2024 and have made reinforcements to fill those holes in the defensive line and defensive backfield by adding veteran pass rusher Von Miller and versatile defensive back Will Harris.

However, the question remains if the Commanders can replicate and build on last year’s success. Unlike 2024, opponents will have plenty of film on Daniels and Washington won't be able to sneak up on anyone with surprises again.

Here is everything you need to know in order to listen to Washington Commanders games on the radio this season.

Washington Commanders radio announcers

The Commanders radio network features a dynamic trio: lead play-by-play announcer Bram Weinstein, who is also the Voice of the Washington Commanders, working alongside color analysts London Fletcher and Logan Paulsen.

Weinstein enters his sixth season as the play-by-play announcer after replacing Larry Michael in 2020. As a veteran of the Washington sports media scene, he also hosts The Bram Weinstein Show podcast and has covered D.C. teams for more than a decade.

Paulsen brings a player’s perspective from his eight-year NFL career as a tight end, including his first four seasons in Washington. He finished with 79 receptions for 801 yards and six touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Fletcher rounds out the team as one of the most accomplished players in franchise history. The linebacker spent 16 seasons in the NFL, seven in Washington, and recorded a career total of 2,039 tackles. He was inducted into the Ring of Fame in 2019, cementing his legacy as a defensive cornerstone.
