The Tennessee Titans and head coach Brian Callahan continue to reach new levels of ineptitude each week.

On Sunday, the Titans went down to Houston to take on the Texans. The Titans and Texans both entered the game with 0-3 records desperately needing a win. However, the game wasn't all that competitive, as the Titans were held scoreless and ended up losing 26-0.

Perhaps even more worrisome is that rookie quarterback Cam Ward did not look good. Ward had been playing well despite his team's struggles, but on Sunday, the rookie threw for just 108 yards with one interception.

The Titans are now 0-4 and the playoffs are all but an impossibility. Callahan now has a 3-18 record through 21 games with the Titans, and as a result, is definitely on the hot seat. The coach gave up play-calling duties last week, and it wouldn't be surprising if bigger changes are coming soon.

Based on Callahan's attitude in the press conference following another loss on Sunday, it seems like he's feeling the heat. Callahan had a testy exchange with Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky.

Kuharsky asked Callahan if he thought his team was "resilient and relentless," which are adjectives Callahan previously used to describe what he wanted from his team. Callahan was not in the mood to answer that type of question, though.

"I know what you're doing here, Paul," said Callahan, obviously annoyed. "I know what you're doing, and you know, and I'm not gonna answer that right now."

Kuharsky continued to press, and Callahan got more visibly annoyed by the veteran reporter.

"I'm just gonna compose myself here before I say something I regret," said Callahan. "Yes, I think this team is resilient, I think it is resilient. We haven't played good enough football."

Kuharsky is perfectly within his right to ask tough questions like that, especially when the team has performed so poorly. It's also understandable that Callahan is upset, because he knows better than anybody that his job is on the line with this team.

The next opportunity for the Titans to get a win comes next weekend when the team takes on the Arizona Cardinals. Who knows, Callahan may not even be the head coach by the time the Titans get to the desert.

The Titans have the Raiders, Patriots, Colts, and Chargers all after the Cardinals, and it's hard to imagine many wins coming in the near future.
