Mike Evans injury update: Buccaneers' WR goes straight to the locker room image

Mike Evans didn't go to the medical tent but straight to the locker room when he left the field with an injury on Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' receiver legend left late in the second half.

The Bucs were up 26-13 when Evans departed.

Mike Evans injury update

Evans was listed with a hamstring injury when he left the field. About 20 minutes later, Evans was ruled out for the rest of the game.

He was having a relatively quiet game against the Jets, with four catches for 33 yards.

Evans had salvaged his day for his fantasy football managers by catching a touchdown.

The Bucs entered the day with rookie Emeka Egbuka a bit dinged up, and losing Evans for any period of time would be costly.

But at least for Tampa Bay, it looks like they'll be 3-0.

And the Buccaneers are hopeful that veteran WR Chris Godwin will be back for Week 4. It just remains to be seen who he'll get to play with.
