The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been without wide receiver Chris Godwin since last season when he suffered a dislocated ankle.
Godwin has missed the first three games of 2025 while he recovers from the injury, but there was a good sign that he would make his debut this week after he logged a full practice twice in three days.
However, Godwin also drew a questionable tag, which leaves some uncertainty about his ability to suit up.
Here's what we know as of Sunday morning.
Is Chris Godwin playing today?
UPDATE: Godwin is officially active for Week 4.
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that Godwin "will start and play a lot" in his first game since last season.
END OF UPDATE
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Godwin is expected to play in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The concern, of course, is that Godwin will be limited in his first game back, although that has not been confirmed.
Chris Godwin start or sit advice
Godwin faces a tough matchup against an Eagles defense ceding the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
Making things more troubling, there's definitely a chance Godwin doesn't play a full complement of snaps in his first game since last October.
The safe bet is to sit Godwin to see how things shake out.
Verdict: Sit
