Baker Mayfield was absolutely dialed in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 38-35 victory against the Seattle Seahawks. Tampa Bay is establishing itself as a top contender in the NFC, and Baker Mayfield may be playing himself into the MVP conversation.

On Sunday, Mayfield's efficiency was off the charts, as he continued to develop a strong connection with Emeka Egbuka. The Buccaneers are without Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin is working back from injury.

What history did Baker Mayfield make?

This stat line doesn't even sound real. In Sunday's win, Baker Mayfield completed 29 of his 33 pass attempts for 376 yards and two touchdowns.

Mayfield became the first QB ever to have 375+ passing yards and fewer than 5 incompletions in a regular season NFL game.

His emergence as one of the top QBs in football is one of the best stories in the sport. A few seasons ago, Mayfield's career was on the ropes, but Tampa Bay decided to take a chance on him three years ago, and it has completely paid off for the Buccaneers, who have won the NFC South the last four seasons.

The Buccaneers are 4-1, with their only loss coming to the Philadelphia Eagles, and they take on the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday in a battle of 4-1 teams.
