The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13 in a matchup of teams that've benefited from the resurgence of Sam Darnold.

This Week 13 matchup is a big one for both teams, as the Seahawks look to stay alive in the NFC West, while the Vikings try to stay alive in the playoff hunt.

Darnold and the Seahawks welcome the Vikings to Seattle, but they will be wearing different uniforms than normal in this Vikings matchup.

Why Seahawks are wearing alternative uniforms in Week 13 vs. Vikings

As ESPN shared, "The Seattle Seahawks have their royal blue and silver throwbacks on deck against the Minnesota Vikings."

These uniforms are some of the best in the NFL and have made for some incredible uniform matchups this season. While the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the one that stands out, this week's matchup should also prove to be a good one.

Minnesota will be wearing its purple helmets and a white jersey, providing a nice compliment to the Seahawks' royal blue and silver throwbacks.

Seattle will wear these throwbacks as they look to get to 9-3, and stay at minimum one game behind the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West division lead.

The Vikings are 4-7, starting Max Brosmer over JJ McCarthy due to injury, and looking to bounce back after a recent three-game losing streak.

This Week 13 matchup should be a good one, as Darnold and the Seahawks face his former team, which has been forced to make a quarterback change. Darnold vs. Brosmer doesn't seem like an incredible matchup, but it's one of the best of the weekend slate.
