The Seattle Seahawks showed the rest of the NFL what a dismantling looks like this weekend in Atlanta as they beat the Falcons 37-9.
Darnold broke out of his slump, going 20/30 for 249 yards and three TDs, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba had seven catches for 92 yards and two of those three TDs.
The Seattle defense continued to look like the most dominant unit in the league. The defense tallied two interceptions and recovered a fumble while also hitting the QB seven times. The team looks elite from top to bottom.

With the Seahawks' win that placed them at 10-3 for the season, and with that 10th win, they helped Sam Darnold establish a feat only ever accomplished by Tom Brady.
Sam Darnold becomes second QB to win 10+ games in back-to-back seasons with two different teams
Last season, Sam Darnold was manning the Minnesota Vikings' helm and led them to be the NFL's Cinderella story, finishing the season 14-3.
Despite the lackluster playoff performance, Darnold proved himself enough to get a deal in the offseason from Seattle. So far in this 2025 campaign, he’s proving Seattle right as they’ve already secured 10 wins and are a playoff lock.
The last and only other time any QB has done that in NFL history was when Tom Brady did it with the Patriots and then the Buccaneers.
