Kenneth Walker vs. Zach Charbonnet fantasy Week 2: Which Seahawks RB is the better start vs. Steelers? image

The Seahawks backfield is suddenly changing. After Kenneth Walker taking majority of the snaps when healthy, it's now Zach Charbonnet taking command in 2025.

In week one Walker had 40% of the snaps while Charbonnet commanded 58%. Now how should fantasy managers respond in week two?

Let's break it down.

Start or sit Zach Charbonnet in fantasy?

The second-year running back is a borderline start for week two against the Steelers.

Charbonnet ran 12 times for 47 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers. However he was not targeted in the pass game which makes him less valuable in full PPR leagues.

Our Vinnie Iyer has Charbonnet at the last spot on his running backs to start list.

"He looks the high-leverage touch guy in their sudden committee and the Steelers gave it up to Hall," Iyer wrote.

Start or sit Kenneth Walker in fantasy?

It's a strange way to begin the year but if you drafted Kenneth Walker you'll be disappointed to hear he is a sit candidate for week two against the Steelers.

He had 10 rushes for 20 yards and added three receptions for four yards in the loss to San Francisco. Even in a PPR league it's a disappointing stat line for a player expected to be a weekly starter for fantasy.

"He looked rough against the 49ers and won't suddenly slump-bust here" Iyer wrote on Walker.

Things could change against the Steelers but if you have a more reliable option Kenny should stay on your bench.
