Jaxon Smith-Njigba cemented himself as the Seattle Seahawks' No. 1 receiver last season and has looked very much like that guy in 2025.

JSN has posted 96 yards or more in each of the first three games to start the season, including 124 yards in Week 1 and 103 yards in Week 2. He scored his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign in Week 3.

However, Smith-Njigba is off to an uncharacteristically slow start in the Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Here's the lowdown on that.

Is Jaxon Smith-Njigba playing tonight?

UPDATE: Ladies and gents, we have a catch!

JSN's first catch of the night comes with 44 seconds left in the third quarter and it went for 10 yards. Darnold actually targeted JSN on the play prior to his catch, also, but the pass fell incomplete.

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: Smith-Njiga got his third touch of the night on the Seahawks' latest drive, but it was another carry!

Are the Seahawks converting him to a running back?!

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: JSN got a touch on the first drive of the second half, but it was another carry, which he took for 10 yards.

Still no targets, though.

Kirk Herbstreit did a quick breakdown coming out of the half and showed that the Cardinals are giving a TON of attention to JSN tonight, so that's likely why Darnold isn't throwing his way.

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: We are through an entire half of football and Smith-Njigba has yet to be targeted.

It's criminal, really.

END OF UPDATE

UPDATE: Three drives and still no targets for JSN.

In the words of the great Vince Lombardi: "What the hell's going on out here?!"

END OF UPDATE

Yes, Smith-Njigba is active and healthy.

JSN actually received a carry on the first drive of the game, picking up two yards.

Unfortunately, he has yet to get involved in the passing game with zero targets over two drives. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold has targeted Kenneth Walker, AJ Barner, Cooper Kupp, Elijah Arroyo and Tory Horton.

Obviously, this isn't an ideal start for the third-year wideout, but it's only a matter of time before Darnold finds him.
