The Seattle Seahawks have a primetime game to play Sunday, taking on the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
They're just hoping they can be at as full of strength as possible, although Cooper Kupp's injury news makes that a bit uncertain.
Kupp heads into Sunday as questionable with both a heel injury and a hamstring injury.
The Seahawks' receiving corps is led by rising superstar Jaxon Smith-Njigba. If Kupp is out, it'd push rookie Tory Horton into a potentially more prominent pass-catching role, too.
It'll be a long wait Sunday until the inactive report at about 6:50 p.m. ET/3:50 p.m. PT.
Is Cooper Kupp playing today?
The expectation is that Kupp isn't going to play on Sunday.
ESPN's Adam Schefter, early Sunday morning, wrote that Kupp is "unlikely to play."
That hurts Seattle not just in the passing game but in the run game. Kupp is one of the best blockers at the WR position in football.
The good news for the Seahawks is that after Sam Darnold was a tad dinged up, he's all good to go at quarterback.
And this could be a cool chance for Horton to prove he belongs in front of a national TV audience.
Kupp is tough and could still turn his availability around on Sunday. But the early suggestion is that he'll be on the sideline.
