The Pittsburgh Steelers picked up a huge win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14.

The win was crucial, as the Ravens were nipping at the Steelers' heels in the AFC North race. Now, the Steelers can maintain their first place spot for at least one more week.

Aaron Rodgers hasn't looked like his vintage self by any means, but he's also played well enough for the team to be in contention. However, the quarterback has hinted that 2025 may be his final season in the league.

If that's the case, the Steelers need to focus this offseason on finding their quarterback of the future. The team won't have a high draft pick, so they may have to either trade up or take their chances later in the draft.

Jacob Infante of PFSN recently published an updated three-round 2026 mock draft. Infante didn't have the Steelers taking a quarterback in the first round, but he did have the team taking one in the second.

The pick is South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers. Sellers was at one time projected to be a top pick in the draft, but a disappointing 2025 season has him falling.

Regarding this potential pick, Infante offered the following:

LaNorris Sellers is a big-bodied QB with a rocket arm, tremendous athleticism, and great sack avoidance. A lack of growth in terms of accuracy and full-field progression ability hurts him, but he’s an absurdly talented athlete worth gambling on, especially if you’re lacking a long-term answer at the position like the Steelers are.

As Infante mentioned, Sellers has the body and arm to be a solid NFL quarterback. It was disappointing that we didn't see much growth from Sellers in 2025, but there's no denying the natural ability and skillset.

In 2025, Sellers played in all 12 games and threw for 2,437 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The quarterback also rushed 270 yards and five scores while completing 60.8% of his passes.

It's fair to question whether Sellers was actually worse in 2025, or if he was just the victim of a bad team. The Gamecocks struggled to protect Sellers all season long and ended with a 4-8 record.

In Pittsburgh, Sellers could immediately be thrust into the starting role. 2025 rookie Will Howard is the only quarterback on the roster under contract for 2026. If Sellers is the pick, it would make sense for the team to sign a reliable veteran to start the season and mentor Sellers.
