The tush push is arguably the most polarizing play in NFL history. If you are a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you love it. If you're a fan of just about any other team, you hate it and think it should be thrown into the pits of fire in Mordor.

Regardless of what side you fall on, the consensus is that everyone is tired of hearing about it one way or another. It's not just fans whom that applies to, either - media and broadcasters hate it, as well.

Perhaps no broadcaster hates the play more than ESPN's Troy Aikman. The Monday Night Football  commentator isn't afraid to let it be known when he doesn't like something - a quality that has won him over with many fans. At the end of the first half as the Eagles were close to the end zone, Aikman's partner, Joe Buck, mentioned that Philadelphia would likely try the tush push.

"I know the average fan gets tired of hearing about the tush push," Buck said.

"And the average broadcaster," Aikman replied.

The two shared a laugh, and the Eagles ended up settling for a field goal. They trail the Los Angeles Chargers 10-6 at halftime. The offense continues to struggle as they've turned the ball over three times in the first half and failed to reach the end zone. Philadelphia hasn't scored more than 21 points in five weeks - will that end tonight?
