The Philadelphia Eagles feature one Canadian star who, if he wants, could one day return home.
The Canadian Football League's teams gain negotiating rights for players in other leagues, and the Toronto Argonauts snagged the rights of the Eagles' Sydney Brown.
Brown is a native of London, Ontario.
He played in 11 games in 2024 for the Super Bowl champions, intercepting one pass.

The 25-year old was drafted in the third round in 2023 by the Eagles out of Illinois.
He likely won't be leaving anytime soon. It would be interesting to see if someone like Brown would ever consider a late-career homecoming to finish his football career.
But first, there's a Super Bowl title to defend in the NFL.

This is only a bit of news because the CFL released its entire negotiating rights list, and Brown was on it.
There are no indications that he's leaving, though. Brown is still locked in with the Eagles.
