The Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints are both intrigued by a football talent with quite the pedigree.
Currently a free agent, wide receiver Brenden Rice has had a workout for both the Eagles and the Saints in the past few days.
And yes, that Rice, as in Jerry.
Brenden is the greatest WR ever's son.

He was with the Los Angeles Chargers this summer but was cut when the NFL's rosters were trimmed to 53.
The Chargers took Rice in the seventh round in 2024 after he split his college career between Colorado and USC.
As a rookie, Rice played in three games. He totaled three offensive snaps and 10 special-teams snaps.
He didn't catch a pass or record a tackle as a rookie before being placed on injured reserve in November.

Rice was hoping to make more of an impact this season, although the Chargers weren't on the same page.
He's an intriguing talent at 6-foot-3 with a 4.50-second 40-yard dash and 36.5-inch vertical leap.
And yeah, he's got the big-time last name.
Sometimes a last name can work against a player, but in the battle to stick around the NFL, Rice probably doesn't mind any help it can give him.
No one has actually signed Rice yet, so it's still a waiting game. But it seems like he'll probably get another opportunity at some point this season.
